Official Guidelines:
Washington Sports and Entertainment has established the Washington Sports and Entertainment Street Team. The duties and responsibilities of all chosen members are as follows. Also outlined in this provision are details regarding the team, its mission, and rules within the Street Team.
How do you become a part of the Washington Sports and Entertainment Street Team?
Members will be chosen on the basis that they have proven abilities to communicate well with others, deliver materials in a timely fashion, work hard, be dedicated, have fun, and have a valid driver’s license. All members will be chosen by the Washington Sports and Entertainment Marketing Department and are subject to expulsion upon word of any disruptions or disputes with any public business while promoting. While promoting you serve as a representative of Washington Sports and Entertainment.
What kind of materials are the Washington Sports and Entertainment Street Team responsible for?
Members will be responsible for delivering flyers, posters, and other materials to various businesses (Record Stores, clothing stores, coffee shops, shopping centers…); it depends on the event. All members must offer to hang up materials (whenever it applies) or leave materials for the businesses to take care of. Remember: Business Is Always Right. It is up to the business whether or not they would like the materials distributed, left or hung up.
Washington Sports and Entertainment Marketing Department will frequently check to see that materials are being delivered to all locations listed on a team members “hit list”.
What are the perks of being a part of the Washington Sports and Entertainment Street Team?
Tickets can be earned to shows for every two or three “hit list” sheets that you turn in (that’s 20-30 stops and you can earn a pair of tickets to an event!). The number of stops will be determined prior to receiving materials depending on which show it is. List of shows will be sent out via e-mail every month containing shows that a team member can earn tickets to.
Members will also have access to tickets for purchase in advance depending on the event and in some cases, purchase tickets to sold-out shows.
Members can win FREE stuff!! You can win official posters, CD’s, memorabilia, etc…
